Install issues on SMF 2.0 final

I installed TP yesterday on a SMF 2.0 final forum install.  I had to do it manually and the portal is functional to a point.

I unzipped the TP install download and copied all of the files in the SMF 2 folder to the right locations, also copied the TP_images and TP_downloads folders to the SMF directory.  I ran the database update for TP and that created the tables needed.

So, in looking at the error log I noticed errors saying files in the folder TP_files were not found.  Looking around I found that folder in the SMF 1.0 folder of the install package.

I copied that folder and it's contents to the root SMF folder and when I did the site goes blank.  Just a white page is displayed.  So it basically takes down the site.  Renaming that folder brings the site back but the errors return.

Without this folder and the files in it causes the articles module, among some others to not work.

The website I made for a friend of mine is bobshem dot com.

Any suggestions/ideas on how to get this install fully functional?  This is the first time I've used TP.  In the past I always used MKPortal but they have discontinued the product.  TP seems to be a nice alternative.

Thanks,

Scott

There should be a tp-files folder in both the SMF1 and SMF2 folder. Using the one in SMF1 in an SMF2 install will likely result in this problem.

Duh!  I could have sworn last night the SMF 2.0 folder did not contain that TP_files folder!  I only saw it in the 1.0 folder!

Dang, all is good now.  Copied that in and it's working well now!

Thanks!

Scott
