I applied the update today and now my first article written is at the top no matter how I sort on the front page.  I can sort by date, ID, position, doesn't matter.  The first article written is at the top and then the sort order applies properly after that.

In the category it works no problem as all of the articles on the front page are in the same category but on the front page the first one written is at the top no matter what.  Any thoughts?

Rus,

Well, maybe there is a reasonable explanation for this.

Look in your TPAdmin at all the articles in the Front Page category.  If the "Fire Hall" article is the "featured article", it will have an icon that looks like this -->

All those that are not the "featured article" will have the same icon but ghosted, like this -->
If the "Fire Hall" article is the "featured article", just click the green icon () so that it will be ghosted and save.
