No problem, glad to help. O0

Not sure if it's because you have more than one language installed that you have to select it manually for each block.

On my site I don't have to do this, but I only have one language installed. That tick box remains empty on mine, but the blocks still work.

Hopefully IchBin can shed some light on this.

If you have the language visibility option turned on in general settings, then you have to select the languages you want it to show for. Otherwise, blocks will not show as you found out. Makes sense doesn't it?

It does, kind of.  I checked this though, and turned the language visibility option off as it is on my site, thinking it was the problem.  Trouble is it made no difference, and still had to select the language to get a block working.  Maybe it was just a glitch at the time I tried.

Takishy, could perhaps try this again, and create a new test block to confirm.   ;)

IchBin

Well I just turned that option on, and then all the blocks disappeared. I turned the option off, and all the blocks reappeared. I think it's working as it should. Its just the option is a little belligerent in the way it "requires" you to select a language when the setting is on.

Takishy

if you turn off language visibility, is no need to select the language when adding new blocks, you even get this message in that section: NB! The language visibility setting is turned off. Note that the language choices will not work unless its turned on.

i guess i overlooked this when i turned it on, or forgot on it later on...

my language didnt even work properlly with smf so i just removed language and turned off language visibility...
all good now  O0
