front panel block not showing for admin

Front page blocks will not display to the admin (yeah, they are enabled)

This seems to have happened at some point after installing one of the earlier betas after .98 and has never came back. I assumed that it was just a WIP glitch and would return but it appears something is wrong.

I can enable a front page block for several member groups and all can view with the exception of the admin group which is weird. All other block positions work as expected.

Any pointers as to where I can look in the db to see what might be causing this?

What's that bad? I have no idea what you are referring to that you think is bad, so feel free to explain.

I'm not having the same problem on a test site of mine, nor do I have the problem if I turn a front block on this site.

Would help if you posted if you had any errors in your SMF log or your server log when you try to display front blocks.Typically just helps us if you follow our posting guidelines too.
A link to your site?
Do you get the error if you change the position of where front blocks display?
How about if you change themes?

FYI most of us are having problems with connecting to this site lately, so don't expect quick help if that's what you're calling "bad".
