Need some help about block access

Related Error messages:

1) All the TP block used in the forum are unchecked for Guest, so they should not be able to see them .  But when i log off , i still can see all the blocks !
2) I would like to see a particular block only on the forum related page, but not when replying or posting , but i can't figure how to do it ..

Did you refresh the screen of delete the temporally files? Holding SHIFT + clicking on Refresh might fix this?

No i'm afraid not, i emptied my cache, tryed another browser etc .. It's still the same

Checked your site, the blocks are indeed visible for guests. You are running 2.0 RC4. I tried the same with SMF 1.1.12 with TP 1.0 RC 1 and got the same result. Un-ticking Guests for a block and save this new setting doesn't remove that block for Guests.
I checked both TP and SMF for specifiek settings regarding this 'problem' but I can't find anything related so far.

Found nothing else related but it might be a issue on TP itself which needs to be fixed for the final release and perhaps is already in the bugtracker?

The issue with blocks showing to Guests when Guests are unchecked was indeed in the bugtracker but is probably not there now.  We lost some issues from the bugtracker during the recent problems with our server.  I believe that this issue has been solved for the next release of TinyPortal though Ichbin will have to confirm that at this time.

Each block allows you to choose where to show it.  This is done under the various actions listed in the particular block edit screen, under "Choose where the block should appear".  Take a look at the edit screen for a particular block and see if you can figure this out.  If not, tell us what is checked there and we'll help you out.

Yes, block access for guests is fixed in the next release of TP.

Thanks for the info , we'll wait the next realease . Thank you    We also have an issue with "Error: undefined index: show_download", I just see you fixed it also

We have a bloc "Pronos" in the upper panel . I want it to be visible only on this page ( the index of the section "pronostics" ). I don't want to see it when replying, posting or reading posts in this section .   

So I checked the corresponding section in "Choose where the block should appear -> Boards ", and in the panel settings I set "post,editpoll" in  "Choose where the block should appear."  This is ok , but this setting affects all the panels  and not this particular block , and the block still appear when reading posts ..

Sorry but TP does not give such finely grained options as to only show when in a specific board and not in the reply or topics. You'd have to do this with php code in the block to make it only show on the board.

This is not something that you can do, at least not with the current code.

For instance, here on this site, we have an upper block called "showcase posting guide" that is set to appear only at the top of the Showcase Board.  You can see it there at this link --> http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?board=88.0

Because "?board=88.0" in the link above is not an action per say, then the block will show {1} when reading any topic in that Board, {2} when posting a new topic in that Board, or {3} When replying to a topic in that Board.  In other words, the block will show when doing nearly anything having to do with that Board.  There is no way to limit the block to showing only on the Index of that Board.  In other words, you can't choose where to NOT show a block, only where to show it.

Edit: Well, pipped by Ichbin but, yeah, what he said, you can probably do it with the code in just the block, if it's a php block, but I haven't tried it.

Thank you both , I'll try to edit the block as Ichbin said . It's a html block but I can change it to php I think
