Sorting topics on start page by category first - how?

Hello
I would like to sort topics on main page via categories first.

I have few categories on main page, all topics are mixed from this categories and printed "by date". I need to have first print from first category, next from second, etc - this can by sorted by date.
I need some order in this like separated categories.
For example first is category with "meetings" and this posts are most important and should by visible almost forever:

This what I need is similar to STICKY, so this can by also nice idea.

Sorry, but there are no options to sort by category currently. The only options are date, author, position, id number.

I dont see this as a option. I use TP v 0.9 (in php files is described as Software Version:  SMF 0.9  ) and this is 098 if im correct.

That option only exists in the TP 1 version. TP 0.9.8 is no longer supported.
