Shout quote

I want add a button to quote in shoutbox? Its possible?

using TP 1.0 rc1 / smf 2.0 rc4

What i really want, is a button to quote shouts, something like this:

Unfortunately, the Shoutbox doesn't quite work that way.  It would have to be rewritten to add that functionality.  Perhaps in some future version we can do that.  For now, just highlight what you want to quote and copy it.  Then click the quote button and paste the passage that you copied between the quote tags, sort of like I just did in our Shoutbox.

It can also be written like this, if you notice I have added the persons name like so... "quote author=vertigo"

Really thanks for the explanation.

I already use like you say, but my forum has many "newbie" users... 

I hope some future version can have this feature.
