Article Layout - Questions/Suggestions?

Ok, after working on the update for SMF2 RC4 for TinyPortal I've come to realize a few things. In an article when you select in the article options whether to use the frame/title, this does not apply to all the different article layout types. In the front page settings you have 8 options to choose from on how you want your articles to display on the front page. The option to display the frame/title only works for options 1 and 2. Based on the display I don't think it should apply to all of them.

So, I guess I'm just looking for some input:
Should there be clarification on this so users don't get confused?
Or, should it not matter?
Or should I apply that setting so it works on all the layouts?

Ken.

I use a lot of articles, so over the next couple of days I'll give the issue some thought and maybe have some suggestions.

In the meanwhile...  My articles tend to use very little of the options that are available so whenever one is made and published it often means that I have to relearn how to use the options to see if any of them are needed.
Maybe it's just me and I'm not suggesting any changes at this point, but for me simple is usually better... so if a setting works for one it should work for all.  8)

Well I was of the same mind set in that it should work for all. But the other layouts don't seem to use the frame/title in the same manner. I don't know, we'll see what others have to say too. :)
