TPdownloads Issue - Can't add picture

Hello,

I am having an issue where I can't upload a file through the TPdownloads mod unless I don't include an "additional picture".

When I try to upload a new file and I specify an "additional picture" at the bottom, I get a totally blank white page after submitting and the file never gets posted. However, if I chose to not add a picture, then the submission works.

Any ideas?

SMF 2.0 RC3
TP 1.0 RC1

Thanks for the help.

Hi Jolly,

Welcome to the TP Support Site.

I can't duplicate the error that you are getting.  I just uploaded a . doc file to our downloads here and chose an additional picture, as you did.  It uploaded fine without error (see attached images below).  You won't be able to see it though because it is in our Team downloads area.

The only thing I can tell you at this point is to check your TPDownload Manager Settings, especially making sure that your Max Upload size is large enough to handle both the file and the picture.  Also, if you still get the problem, there may be a limit on file size that you might have to check with your Admin (non-SMF) CPanel.

Hi ZarPrime,

Thank you for the help. I double checked all of my TPdownloads settings, and they all seem to be correct. Max upload size is currently set at 200MB and my test file is only about 3MB.

I am running on my own VPS, so I am the admin. I've already adjusted my php ini file to allow 200MB submissions as well.

Please let me know if you have any other ideas. I will continue to troubleshoot.

Jolly, I really don't know why you are having this issue.  Like I said, it works perfectly here on this site.  I guess the next thing to ask you is what all of your TP Download Manager Settings are.  Perhaps one of the other Team Members here has an idea of why you are having this problem.

While you may have checked your TP downloads settings, what about the upload setting for PHP on your server? You can view your upload setting by looking at it with a phpinfo() page or ask your host. Make sure that you are not exceeding the files size on upload that your server has set or it will do exactly the problem you are having. If the upload limit is low (default 2MB) I would ask the host to raise it.
