Hi,

(upgrade from SMF 1.11 and TP 0.98 to SMF 2.0RC3 and TP 1.0 RC1)

I have some troubles with the handling of Categories and Sub-Categories.

this is how the structure should be.

- Cat A
  - SubCat A.A
  - SubCat A.B

in the category overview (under Articles) it shows up like that, so that looks fine.

When I open an article, the breadcrumb works fine like "Site >> Cat A >> SubCat A.A >> Article", when I then click on SubCat A.A in the lingtree (breadcrumb) it shows up as "Site >> >> SubCat A.A" where the Cat A is missing.

Is there a way to get the Cat A back into the linktree (breadcrumb)? Configuration error by me?

thx in advance

WillyP

I do not get the same effect on my test site, see here: http://www.test.planetdescent.net/index.php?page=10  As I understand you, if I click on "Sample article in category D1D2" then the link "Descent 1 & 2" disappears?

Can we have a link to your an article on your site where we can see this?

hidden69

sure

http://www.tt-fleet.com/smf/index.php?page=42
this is where you can see the full linktree

clicking on the 3rd link-depth ("Battleship WWII")  it is
http://www.tt-fleet.com/smf/index.php?cat=54

and you see that there is missing the parent category.

the parent category is
http://www.tt-fleet.com/smf/index.php?cat=37
