What is the story behind your username?

Tell us how you came up with it.


My name came from a British tv sitcom called Desmonds, so my nieces started calling me Lesmond.
Actually My real name is Leslie, but most people call me Les, hence Lesmond

I have used that name for many years now, I also wanted the domain name lesmond but it was taken, so I got lesmonds domain.

Mine's lurkalot, erm,  because I lurk a lot. 

[Freddy]

Mine's Freddy because when I was a kid we would always name spiders 'Freddy'.

Yes all of them.

Sometimes they were just called Fred. 

And when I joined a website once, over five years ago, it just popped in there as a user name.

Then I joined related forums and the name kind of stuck...mainly so people knew it was still me.

Sometimes I use other names but I am best know for this one and tend to use it on sites where I will probably stick around for a while.

Ken, because... well, erm... because that's my name. 

Most of my online nicks have been some variation of my 'real' name with the exception of the 'BigFoot' nick and that came from a humorous encounter that I had with a lady visitor during my time at the state lockup.

WillyP = William Patrick.  No real story, I just thought WillyP was funny. So when I started playing Descent I chose it for a pilot's name.  Most people in RL call me Pat.

Descent, man I haven't seen that game for ages. Was a very cool game. Hard to play with a joystick though. lol

IchBin = "I am" in German. I took german in highschool, so when I was playing Medal of Honor years ago with Germans and Americans I chose the German phrase as my label.

Always loved Egyptian mythology, and Anubis was my favorite... I just added Lord for some flair
