that thread title isnt worded right at all.. which im guessing is why i cant find any info on this one via searching.. but anyway.. basically im just wondering if its possible to have certain blocks, or whole panels, collapsed by default on certain themes.. while still keeping them active on others? and if so.. where and how would i go about setting that one?

uniektekniek

basically what im trying to do is create a very clean theme with no bright pictures for users who may be at work and dont want the site jumping off the page while the boss may be wandering past... i have a fairly big and colourful java slideshow menu and ad spaces n such that i'd like to hide just on that one theme.. but keep em up on the other themes..

not sure if that is possible, may need some code changes if it is, maybe someone has a better idea though!

It's possible, but it would be a pretty big deal to go in and customize TP to work that way. There's an easier method IMO to do this though. If you are using PHP blocks, you can just put in a bit of code to check to see what theme the user is using.

global $user_info;

if ($user_info['theme'] == 5) {
    echo 'what you want if the user is using theme id 5';
}
else {
    echo 'display for all other themes';
}
