I installed TP 1 Beta 5 onto SMF 2.0 RC3 but it is not working correctly. My home Page displays an error... (see full error below). FYI: I do see my forums when I go to forums.

DETAILED EXPLANATION:
FYI: my mysql version is 5.0.89...
I had SMF 1.1.10 with TP 1 beta 4.
I installed beta 5 onto that but I got an error that I saw others had also.. I read in the forums that their only solution was to reinstall beta 4...  but I REALLY WANT beta 5 because I tried it on a test forum (2.0RC3) and it worked perfectly. SO I decided to upgrade my SMF to 2.0 RC3..
I restored my 1.1.10 with TP 1 beta4 from a BU. everything was working again...
I uninstalled all mods (including TP), and i set the theme back to default smf theme.
I then upgraded to SMF 2.0 RC3.  everything working.
but as soon as i installed TP 1 beta 5, and I go to HOME, I get the below database error message:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'IFNULL(mem.real_name,art.author) as real_name FROM smf_tp_articles AS art

OK Delete this.. I was playing around with it all day before I posted a question.. but as soon as i posted, I found the cause... lol.

Once I turned off all of my Blocks, then my HOME page worked again?

Its odd because I noticed that all of my html javascript blocks that worked with beta 4, no longer were being displayed in beta 5.. so i turned them off... then my home page was working...  ???

Shane,

Yes, this is a known issue in the public release of beta 5 and has been fixed in the update that bloc will soon release.  I'm glad you were able to discover the temporary fix on your own. O0 Marked solved.
