What exactly do you press when you get that error?

And please don't post in the shoutbox, its NOT intended for support and you cannot post more than 300 chars there anyway.

well, When I navigate to Admin>>Modules and Tags>>
Then under the Block Labeled "Module Activation" I see Downloads manager which is On, then TP Simple Shout  (Admin) Which is on as well. With a huge picture of a Loud Speaker.  When I Click, TP Simple Shout  (Admin) in that block. It loads a page that gives me that error. at the top my Url points as followed. Mydomain.com/MySub/index.php?action=tpmod;shout
When i goto TpShoutbox, I see where it says I can Delete Shouts, but of course there are none. I havent seen the shoutbox appear anywhere, Like I have on some sites. Tho it says it's checked to on.
Also if you just Google, TinyPortal Unable to Load 'Main' Template You will notice alot of websites, that have your Mod installed, and are having sort of the same problem, instead of having a shoutbox show up where it's pose to, its replaced with that error.
Anyways I hope I was clear, and that this Description, contained enough information you can track down the problem and a fix, Thank you and Nice looking Modification.

Ok, I see. I need to check why it does that, it shoudl really show the latest shouts in a big window when you press the Shoutbox link from within the modules screen. The admin link should show of course admin screen. The link should be "index.php?action?tpmod;shout=shout50".

But have you managed to show the shoutbox in a block?

I have yet to see the shoutbox at all. I figured maybe I might need to add some code to have it show up. I first searched all over for the SB when i didn't find it i figured maybe i had to enable it, aafter tracking down where to enable it, i noticed it was already enabled. turned on, thats when i tried clicking that link then that error, I than began my research on this error and noticed other ppl had almost same problem, however theres showed the shoutbox, in some cases and in others just the error.

Ken.

Vb.Wizard, you may have already checked all of these steps, but just in case you've missed one:...

In the TP Admin panel do as follows:
Modules and Tags>TP Simple Shout>On
Panels and Blocks>Add left block(or, wherever you want it to show)
Type>TP Module (in the dropdown menu)
Save and then you will be back in the block's admin:
Select 'TPShout'
Status = On
At the bottom of that page you will see "Choose where the block should appear.[Show] [Hide]"
Select 'Show' and then set where you want the Shout Block to appear.

Check to see if it's now showing.

I feel Dumb as heck. That worked like a charm. Thanks alot Ken, and Bloc. I somehow missed having to do all that. I appreciate, all the help and sorry for being a pain. Guys take care, and I wish you all the best of luck on this Project.

Vb.Wizard,

Don't feel bad, Bro'.  Obviously you aren't the only person who has had this problem, especially wrt selecting where to show the block. ;) Once TP 1.0 beta 5 comes out, this should be a little more user intuitive as the panel to select where to show the block is open by default but can then be collapsed.  Glad everything worked out and I will mark this topic solved.
