Unsub from email Newsletter

[Jambe]

The newsletter reads: "To unsubscribe from these announcements, login to the forum and uncheck "Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email." in your profile."

I can't find any suck checkbox.

Suggestions?

[Ken.]

Hi Jambe, welcome to TinyPortal.

In an attempt to slow down the spammers we have in place a restriction for members with less than 5 posts that makes them be not able to edit their profile.

Once you've reached the post count threshold you'll be able to access that function.
Thanks for understanding.

[Jambe]

So, er, can I just post three more times on this post to access it?  I really don't have anything else to contribute to the forum.

[bloc]

No need I have turned it off for you.

[Jambe]

Thanks, Bloc!  Uh... another question!  I can't find where to go to find the "Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email" checkbox.  If I go here my only options in the "Modify Profile" section is "Group Memberships".

Can somebody walk me through this?  lol

[Ken.]

Jambe, that option should be under the notification section in your profile, but may not show up until you have the required post count totals.

Exactly. This is unfortunate though, so I have changed the option for new members.
