can we set smf up so that if someone replies to a thread that you started , then you will get an email letting you know?

Ken.

You can do that Shane, that's really a function of SMF and not TinyPortal so your question would be better asked over on SMF.

Reading the docs for both SMF and for TP will give you most of the answers you seek.

shane,

Ken's right, it is a function of SMF, and he's also also right that reading the Docs will help you out a lot, especially if you are new.  Also, the search function is a marvelous feature.

However, since I am in that particular location on one of my sites right now, I will go ahead and tell you that you or any of your members can turn "notifications" on by going to ...
your Profile --> Modify Profile --> Notifications and Email

ok you're right, I should have read the docs.  I usually am one to read all the faq and help files. I just been up to 7am for the last week working on different things. I blame my laziness on my exhaustion. LOL  but  I apologize though. im heading over there now to get the docs...  :)
