I have edited the style.css to get all text colors I want but some don't seem to change.  The ones in particular I have trouble locating are text in the title header bars of certain sections: Help, Messages, Members List (Alphabet and Pages) and when you call something to the frontpage like news from a forum, the header bar the title text is in.

Does Tiny Portal put some color codes for text in one of the TP files added in on TinyPortal install as well as use the standard style.css?

Thanks.

Would been easy to give an answer to your question if we knew more about your setup. We have several diffrent packages and they are all diffrent in how it fetches the content and layout..

Link to my site: http://www.total-darkness.com/testforum/ in pieces atm because of editing various files
SMF version: SMF ver. 1.1.0
TP version: TP ver. TinyPortal v1.0 beta 4
Theme name and version: Default (basically just editing core theme)
Browser Name and Version: Use both when changing theme and design - Firefox 3.5.2and IE
Mods installed:
Related Error messages: None - Colors just not changing on some items.

I added a screenshot of the pages that have still got black writing I need to change, Also wanted to change the Date on the news sent to frontpage as its got it in different fontsizes as you can see from the screenshot.

Just really need to know where the files are for chaging text color, boldness and size because tinyportal seems to hide a few of the things in a different file to the forums style.css.

It the colors are not in the style.css then it is most likely in the tp-style.css file. Which is also located in the default theme. You can just copy that file to your theme and make the changes you need.

If you want to make it easy on yourself with being able to find which class an element on your page is using, I would advise you to download firebug for firefox. This little extension will save you hours of work. You can right click on any item on your page and choose inspect element. It will then open firebug and show you the HTML and CSS associated with it. You can then make changes to see how it would look. If the changes look good, you make them permanent by changing your file via FTP or any other preferred method.
