Hey gang,

I've search and there are a ton of topics, which is why I canââ,¬â,,¢t find it, because they all relate to subscribing to RSS feeds using the RSS Feed Bloc.  Iââ,¬â,,¢ve using the RSS Feed Bloc in two areas of my TP installation.

I want to publish my site:  http://scoutpack562.org/index.php  (versions clearly visible at bottom) using an RSS feed icon.  Can I do this?

Thanks,
Roy

No, the feed blok is just for fetching rss feeds to show on your forum from other sites on the net. not to generate feeds to send from your site.

Is there a way to "publish" rss feeds of TP/SMF, intrinsically with TP block code or SMF add-ons?

Not through tp, cant say if there are any RSS feed mods for SMF, you have to seek help on that on simplemachines.org

lextalionis,

I gotta say that I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to do.  You say you want to "publish" your site, but again, I'm not sure what you mean by that.  You can get an RSS Feed from your site showing all the posts made on your site and this feed can be used in a TP block, even on your own site, but on your site posts are not available to be read by Guests so the Feed wouldn't show anything.

For instance, the link to the feed for your entire site is ...
http://scoutpack562.org/index.php?type=rss;action=.xml

However, as I said, nothing will show up because you have to be logged in to see any posts.

If you would like to explain a little better exactly what you are trying to do, maybe we can help you.

Here's a link that shows you all the RSS feeds you can do with SMF. Unfortunately, TP does not have any feeds built in yet.
