Forum Running Slow - Was Re: Purchase Azure theme

Hello, I am a very newb'ish broad question. Hopefully I posted in the correct place.

My forum is running incredibly slow for some reason. I know this is a hosting issue or a smf issue and not tiny portal or theme issue. The reason I am posting here is because I have ruled most things out as far as the reason my forum is running so slow. It only has 30 registered members.

I use Azure 1.1 RC3.

By chance, is there anything wrong or outdated with the version of Azure?

Again, sorry if this is the incorrect place to post this. Since I run a smaller forum, losing member due to the lack of speed is a big deal for me.

Actually, this sounds like more of a support issue than a theme issue so, for now, I will split it from the Shop and place it into Support.  I am also going to change the subject of the topic when I move it to better reflect the issue.

FWIW, I can't see a problem with your Forum.  It loads very fast for me.  Is there a particular location on your Forum that is running slow?  If it is a theme issue then we can again move this into the Azure Board if you still have access there.  Ohterwise, since you don't have TinyPortal installed, there is probably not much we can tell you since it really doesn't have anything to do with TP.  Does it exhibit the same problem when using the SMF default core theme?

Most of the times when a forum runs "slow" it ends up in the content put in ( if you dont have an oversold host where they have way to many accounts on one server )

1. What blocks do you have ?  many rss feeds slows the forum down. Even 1 feed with a bad connection can cause the forum to an halt compleatly.
2. Content with links from outside sources slows things down, even more if the content you want to show are located on slow servers.
