Comments functional on single articles on the front page

Apparently the ability to add comments to single articles in blocks on the front page isn't available. I'd like to suggest that such a feature be added or if not possible a comment to that affect be made while creating/editing and article.

Yes sir but on the frontpage. While usually it's okay to provide a link to another page or such things my Daily Bible Verse and Devotional don't lend themselves to that. If someone has to click on a link to get to it they normally won't. I have had requests however to post comments. My solution was to just put my own link on going to a precreated forum topic. That works but not as well in my opinion.

In v1.0 beta5 you will be able to write up HOW the article should look - so there you could choose to show comments right on the frontpage too. But generally, that would create a long page, unless you are using the single page option?
