Tiny Portal upgrade from 0.9.8 to 1.0Beta 3 ShoutBox

I am unable to view the shoutbox on my upgraded Tinyportal.  I went from 0.9.8 to 1.0Beta3 and the shoutbox isnt working.

Why is the shoutbox not showing in TP 1.0?.html

Following on from this... to save opening a new thread...

I'm just starting to build a new site for people with gastric bands

SMF 1.1.9
TP v1.0 beta 4

... and I can't get the shoutbox to appear!

I got it to show on another site but this time I'm stumped.

I uploaded it, activated it, created a left hand block as a TP Module and it shows as active... yet I still can't see it.

I'm know I'm just missing something simple and fundamental (like common sense?) but I *can't* see what I've missed - it's driving me crazy!

Any hints about what I've not done would be appreciated.

Edit:

Ok in 'Module Activation'... I 'TP SImple Shout' clicked on the and got this message: "An Error Has Occurred! Unable to load the 'main' template."

I have the feeling it didn't upload properly... but if it didn't how could it activate itself??

What I failed to read/remember is to go to the bottom of the page, click on 'Show', then click on 'Visible everywhere' *and* tick the Shoutbox box.

Such a simple little mistake.

Everyone except people like me can ignore this.
