Pages on frontpage problem

Hello, I've got a problem with the display of the pages on my frontpage. I already set 'Only forum-posts' and 'Number of posts/articles to display on frontpage' to 10. The Problem is that there were shown all together at least 50 news. I post more than 50 news but they don't were shown at my frontpage. What is the problem? Is there a limit for the pages on the bottom? I hope you can help me.

Oh I found that topic: http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,11806.0.html and try how it stands there, but it just get worse! Now I just see with 10 numbers of post, 2 on the frontpage and I don't know how to fix it.

There is a hard coded limit. Limits are set to protect your server from being over loaded. If you look in TPModules.php you will find this line that sets a limit of 50. You can change it if you'd like.

function TP_boardNewsCount($board, $limit = '50')
