I recently had the advanced shout crash on me so followed the posts I could find and they said mainly to use simpleshout now.

I disabled advanced shout and installed simpleshout which appears to install properly until I try to show the block or enter the admin settings.I get the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function tp_query()

I have tried deleting the table and the shoutbox file in modules and replace from a fresh copy but it gives the same error even after creating the new table and saying install success.

I am thinking theres code in a file somwhere else and its causing the issue and not the file it actually shows as the error.If anyone has any idea where I should be looking to fix this it would be a great help.

Seems like you have files that didnt get upgraded or didnt install correctly.
