Migrating from 0.98 to a new installation of 1.0b4

Hello,
I've a TP 0.98 installed on a web server, but I need to move it to another server, so I would like to install the new version (beta 4).
On both server I've installed SMF 1.19 and I've the full backup of the DB mysql both with and without the CREATE TABLEs, made using the administration interface on TP.
So what's the better way to move it?

Transfer both SMF and TP as it currently is working on your site to the new server. If you are running SMF 1.1.9 and TP 0.9.8, all you will need to do then is update TP. Uninstall TP 0.9.8, and then install the new TP 1 beta4. All TP data will still be in tact because when you install mods the DB tables are NOT removed.
