Hi, i would like to know if possible as to how to set the exact forum category for the news display page, im not one hundred percent sure if this is a TP or Theme setting.

Example:

wolfet.co.uk/index.php?action=homepage

I would really like to change the forum category output on the above page, any help or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

If you are talking about the forum boards that the new for the front page is pulled from, go here:  admin --> settings --> frontpage

You will see:  Show forum-posts on front page from:

There are 5 boards you can pull from...

My frontpage is intentionally only showing articles, admin --> settings --> frontpage has no effect on wolfet.co.uk/index.php?action=homepage, after a little more investigation it would appear that the page in question is not a default TP page, but is infact an additional page provided with the TPM XD-Equinox theme, the template in question is called homepage.template.php, im guessing now that the TPM forum might be the best place for me to get support and answers concerning this.

I think I know this: if the coding is the same as the homepage.template I added to some themes, you can change the template call ssi_boardNews(); to ssi_boardNews(23); where "23" is the id of the board you like to use.

Note that you can only define one board there.
