Blocks do not activate

When I am in the "blocks" interface, i cannot get any blocks to toggle from active to inactive using the "activate" button.
Is there another way to activate a block?

using SMF 1.1.8 with TP 1.063 and that is all!

Does the icon change from red to green when clicking it?

If it does then you may have forgot to select which area you want the block to show.  When editing the block there's an area at the bottom of the screen which says "Choose where the block should appear.".  Just select which area you want the block to show or all pages.

No, the "activate" button does not change from red to green or vice versa.

They do not change for existing blocks, nor for  new blocks. yes i have chosen where the blocks should appear.

Have you also tried clearing your temp files and cookies and then refreshing the page?

It works with the "aurora" theme, but not with the "movies07" theme.

It also does not work with the Virtual Cell theme.
