Hi,

I haven't got an installation problem, everything is running fine. I was just wondering if there was anyway that i could get the RSS feeds to appear on my front page news, i.e articles. So you can see the title and part of the story, then click read more link.

I don't want it in a block i want it to be on the main part of my front page.

thanks

You can use an article, but you have to use an outside rss feed for it to show.

There are several diffrent rss scripts you can use, and google will show you the way to them :)

I have already got the link of the RSS feed i want to appear on my front page, but how do i set it up to appear on TP's articles?

G6Cad

Cant say when you dont show the code you have.

Post the code ( and use codetags when you do ) and we will be able to give you an answer.

Oh, no i don't have a code, just a link to the feeds. so your advising that i just do it via a block?

the way i want them to appear is the way you have on this site , e.g. the latest story on the front page ''February 2009 ThemeClub: BZ22''

so instead of me posting up the story everyday, i want the feed poster i downloaded from SMF site to do it automatically. When i go into the Feed poster settings it only selecting Forum Catagorys to post in.

so what i was wondering is it possible for me to get a feed to post news/articles on my front page ala ''February 2009 ThemeClub: BZ22'' instead of me doing

if so how to i do it?

sorry if i confused you, im a little confused myself, i have only installed TP today

Any code you put in a block can also be put in a php article. They work pretty much the same. The only difference is that there is not an RSS article. So you have to find an RSS script that will do what you want. Then you put that RSS script that will read your RSS feed in your article.
