I am using TP 1.06 (latest), aurora template (full support for 1.06) and i have the wsiwig editor set "on" in the settings for articles, but it does not work, i see only the markup html stuff in the editing box.

Is there something that i have to enable elsewhere for this to work?

SOLVED!!I had each article set to "html" instead of BBC!

Have you tried the other editor too? Does FCKEditor work? FYI, both of these editors are being replaced with a more light weight editor that integrates better into TP in the next release..

no the fck editor does not work. I have it "on" in the settings but it does not work.
What other editor is available? That is the only option that shows.

errors in your error log ? Is the editor activated in your profile ?

and to answer your other question, No, there are no other editor you can use with in TP in V1.0.6.
In the next release, Bloc have removed the old editors and replaced them with a complete new one.

Check also editor choise in your profile, it may override general choice.

I checked the profile settings and it is set for the FCK editor in the articles. I also checked the error logs and the errors for the Shout box are overwhelming (turned that off) but have not found an FCK editor error yet...still looking. i am going to try different templates and see what happens.

Okay, thank you all for your suggestions. I had the settings for each article as "html" instead of BBC, so now i can insert flash, images, etc. Love it!
