badping,

I understand what you're saying.  Kompozer is a light weight easy to use open source WYSIWYG Editor that you can install on your computer.  It was only a suggestion that you could use until the next version of TP comes out, which shouldn't be too long.

i had the suggestion to use an html article to write things inclucing images...then click the "source" to have it change to the html coding,

then insert that coding into a html block

my admins that do not know even basic html has been using this to do the blocks they  want and it works very well when i need to insert an image and resize it without having to go to graphics program, resize and upload.

Do your articles have the "html" on as opposed to "BBC". "Html" on in the articles makes editor go away and shows htnl code in the editing box.

well when i was placing images in the blocks i used the add html part of the article then copy pasted to the html/bbc block I created.

I have used it to get the code for any image to place in the blocks...and no problems....yet. see the second link in my signature, the portal is mainly article but in the forum there are several blocks that are done in article then transferred code to the block.

Niow let me say that in the past when I found a misbehaving block--for whatever reason it would do as you say---I would need to just delete it and create a totally new one then it would work right.
