I installed the forum, upgraded to 1.1.7 then uploaded and installed TP. Getting this error:
QuoteParse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/smf/Sources/Errors.php on line 427

Sorry if this has been addressed, I tried to search for the error and got nothing.

As I stated previously, I searched and got nothing. Linking the posting requirements did nothing for me.

Manual installation is always an option, however I thought Bloc might want to know there is an error.

Welcome back Scotte44, it seems like its been a long time since you been here. We made the posting guidelines so that we have enough information to help the users right off the bat. You posted the error, which is great. But that doesn't tell us if you're forum is still working? If you have any other mods installed? Does this only happen on a certain theme? Based on the error you gave though, I would have to say its an installation error, and not an error in TP itself.

I posted this initially:
QuoteI installed the forum, upgraded to 1.1.7 then uploaded and installed TP.
There is nothing else installed, no themes or mods. The forum is unusable.

Link to my site: http://www.vranx.com/smf
SMF version: 1.1.7
TP version: TP106_beta2
Theme name and version: default
Mods installed: none
Related Error messages: posted above

I posted the links for the manuall install instructions along with the code changes instructions TP make to the SMF files.

If you browse the modinstructions, ant take a look at the code TP adds to the file you have errors in, you have the answer there, the modinstruction have the code you need to know, and it show where you have to add it.
You must have had errors while installing tp through the package manager so open the file errors.php, look at the line you get the error from and i bet you that the TP code got added wrongly cause of other mods, or that you didnt checked so the files were clean before the installation of TP

I uninstalled the forum and re-installed. Did the exact same thing as last time and this time it worked. I always look for errors while using the package manager, I had none either time.

Now the forum works and you can see the portal but much of it isnt filled in.

Also there is nothing in the TP part of the admin panel. It has a heading with nothing under it.
