Cannot set Category Permissions

Hey,

Maybe i didn't look hard enough under search, but it says i can set categories to certain Permission groups. Can someone tell me under which admin section i can do this?

I looked hard, it wasnt on the first couple pages unless i searched incorrectly.

Catagories of Articles. the permissions. I cannot find where to set them.

I find it hard to believe you couldn't find this page, but here's how you get to it.

Admin > Aritlces and Categories > Category > Click on the edit button for the category that you want to edit.

Under Admin, the only relevent category you seem to speak of is Article Manager, and i searched under the categories section there, and there is no permission setting for it. All I can do is edit the category name, set it as a sub category, put an image with it, or delete it. Nothing about Permissions though.

As for the Admin Panel, there are no other options i can see that have to do with categories.

You really need to follow the posting guidelines as requested by G6 because there are differences in the settings between versions of TinyPortal.

Exactly. Had you posted your version which is TP 0.9.8 I would have known exactly what you're problem is. TP 0.9.8 does not have category permissions.

Oh I see. Well Then I will need to update to the 1.0.x TP I apologize for wasting everyones time.
