printing articles

Greetings -

When reading posts in the forum - there is a print button to bring up the post in a separate browser window that is printer friendly.

Can this be done with TinyPortal articles?

I can see a work around: minimize both left & right columns - then use the browser to print ... and that is not bad - but it doesn't scale well for a large community. Anyone have any better work-arounds?

I haven't though of that..but it might be good to have. I will see if this can added.

Thanks for considering it - I bet setting priorities in your 'q is tough.

I think this is a very important feature as I can see using articles similar to static web pages. The articles could be the most important content of the site.

Now that we have it, is there a way to remove the print button?

I've searched and there was this and another thread that said blocks was the way to go but unfortunately blocks replace the print button with a link to the front page for some reason.

Should be abele to remove the button for every article in your article layout option.
( not a general option, but for every article option)

I've unchecked everything there with no success.  I can't even see an option for the print button.
