New TP user, had to jump in here ...

This isn't a support or theme question so I guess it goes in here...

Just wanted to say I am trying TP for the first time. I was familiar with Bloc and his work over at SMF. My forums are small. Mostly friends and family and a small community of people interested in meditation, energy healing, etc, but there is no reason for them not to look their best. Using SMF 1.1.6 and TP 0,983 and I really like the way they look. TP adds some great functionality to the site and I am hoping to learn how to do more with it.

I use Joomla as my main web site CMS and am seriously considering just using SMF and TP. Before I tried TP, SMF by itself would not have worked as my entire web site. However adding TP makes this very possible and I think MUCH lighter.

So a big thank you to Bloc for his hard work and to all of the others in here helping him (G6, Ichbin, and more). I know I will have questions. I will remember to use search first, but I am sure I will probably ask some dumb ones anyways.

I can only echo the above sentiments for Bloc's talent and also welcome you to TinyPortal. The flexibility it affords is amazing and really allows you to expand your site much further than messages back and forth.
