Manual??? ....

I have read all the documentation regards Tiny Portal , But I am still very confused regards the terminology, regards panels, blocks upper, lower, bottom ,


By experimentation I have left blocks showing recent posts,users online etc but
the rest is confusing! is there a more explanitory manual i can download?

any advice would be appreciated, ie can you truncate an article ? or does the whole thing show on the frontpage?

If you look at the panel settings, it shows pictures of where the panels display. When you enable a panel it shows in red where that panel displayes. All the blocks that you put in that panel in your block settings will show in that panel placement.

Articles have an intro. If you use the intro it will only show the intro until you click to read more. If you don't use the intro the whole article shows.

not on my version i don`t get any panels..... in panels just options to switch on or off... 1.5.0

I tried the intro i keep clicking YES .. then save but it always reverts to NO... so I get the full article which I do not want

I'm assuming you're talking about TP 1.0.5 ? These are known bugs. Hence the reason there is a TP 1.0.6 beta 2
