Did you try it with the other editor or no editor at all?

alowell

Yes, I tried both editors. I am not sure what you mean by no editor. However I have noticed if I use the same article as a forum post I get the same error.

I am not sure if this indicates an issue with TP, SMF or the installation as a whole.

If you wish to see how the error manifests itself ,PM me and I will create a UID and PW for you on the site.

By no editor, I mean turning off the editors. Do not use the editor to do your edits. Its an option in the TP settings on which editor you want to use, or none.

Just tried it, same issue.

Do you have a problem entering that same info into a post?

alowell

Yes posts produce the same issue.
Someone suggested that this might be a host related issue, I a not sure because like i said this worked fine prior to the SMF update. I am looking at the security files now. I will post my findings.

If you can't in your posts as well, that would most likely point to a server/host issue.
