newbie question - Can I just upgrade SMF to .6?

Hi there.

I am new to smf and TP (was an old phpbb user).

Anyways, my admin panel says there is an update to SMF out now and I was wounding am i able to just update it? Or is there something fancy to do. I have read a few posts about this and it seams people are having some problems with the smf update during install.....

I on the other hand have TP installed fine... so .. um... AM I able to just run the smf update?

Install with the patch in your package manager and you should be ok.
