Article layout problem

[Aeromax]

Hi, I am trying to set a layout option for my articles, but it appears that the article pages automatically inherit the front page layout no matter what layout I put for articles. For front page only I want layout as Picture+Article but in article I want layout as just Normal Article. But no matter what layout I set the articles to it uses front page layout. If I change front page layout so do articles.
