download problem

when ever i try to upload a file into my downloads with Tinyportal it gives me this error

The upload was not able to complete.This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information.

And trust me the Download file max is high enough its set to 9999 KB just to make sure it would work and still doesnt

Most hosts limit the file size to transfer max 2mb no matter the size you set in your TP admin.

You have to contact your host and ask them to set the allowed file size to a higher limit.
They have to make the edits to the php.ini file.
Also the time taken for the files to execute needs to be set higher, or it will still not work

but thats 2 mb im only uploading about 150 KB's worth.

Do you have any errors in the error log besides the one error you posted allready ?

Also, what file and filextension are you trying to upload ?

Im trying to upload a .zip file i already checked and the .zip file is allowed

What permissions do you have set for the tp upload folder ?

Can you post a link to a phpinfo page? Add this to a file name phpinfo.php and post a link so we can view it on your site?
