Ok..

I already do that.. but how can I apply it to tiny??

This files was what I upload to /themes/default/lenguaje

TPhelp.spanish-utf8.php
TPmodules.spanish-utf8.php
TPortal.spanish-utf8.php
TPortalAdmin.spanish-utf8.php

And nothing is happend.. when SMF is in spanish all TinyPortal menu is blank

guanatos

Forget it.

I remove -utf8 from files names and it works..

Thanx !  ;D

It works, only because Spanish translation has special chars as entities, not UTF-8. You should not use the UTF-8 version in a non UTF-8 SMF install,  use the standard ISO-8859-1 instead.

It is better to replace the language files files with these for the codepage you use.

Hi my friend, i don,t find the spanish files in a non UTF-8 for 0.98.

Hello all.

I had this same issue just selecting Spanish language, I have had one week searching, changing settings, uploading files, chmoding, renaming files, and going mad.

The trick is rename all the TP* files replacing "spanish" with "spanish_es".
In spanish-utf8 files, replace "spanish-utf8"  with "spanish_es-utf8"

And all this language file must be uploaded to  the "languages" folder in default Theme.

Best regards!

Un 10 sobre 10 a la ayuda de añadir _es-utf8 , casi me veia perdido del todo.
