Frontpage of site showing up in text field for "Edit Article"

I have an article that is assigned to appear on the frontpage of my site. When I attempt to edit that article, I get the usual view, but where the text is supposed to be, I actually see the front page of my entire site.

I also see the frontpage fo the site in the intro text area. This only seems to be occuring with HTML articles.

It is occuring on both older articles written under previous versions and when a brand new article is created.

I did a search here but did not see this issue posted.

Any suggestions?

This issue was covered in the bugtracker. Look for a bug that was started by Dannii.

excellent. That solved my problem.

Perhaps the bugtracker could use a new field that gives a description of what the bug could cause so that searches here are more likely to reveal it.
