smf disappears on installation TP1.0.5

TP 1.0.5 installs with no errors but on  going back to forum page after installation, TP Blocks only show and the forum centre blocks disappear. Only the header block is visible. I can't see any smf pages at all only TP blocks.

To rectify, I had to repair settings on the forum pointing to a new dbase before being able to uninstall TP and get smf back on the original dbase.
