wondering why my signature has been edited so my site link is gone

At one time I had a banner in my siggy.  It is gone.  Are we not allowed to have a site-banner link to our forum?

Then I had a text-link.  Now it is gone.  the one I had was edited by ichbin...I believe.  So he deleted banner, but left site link.

Now it is gone.  Again, are team members the only folks allowed to have a link in their signature?

Just curious.  I am sorry for asking questions that have most likely been addressed in my
absence, but my curiosity gets the best of me.

This is the only site that I have ever had my signature edited without any correspondence to me previous to team member editing "my" signature.

Im not sure, but it can be that your banner was one of the images that didnt transfer during the tps move to a new server.
I dont think any of us in the team has removed anything regarding any signatures, we usually just ask the members to edit them if they for some reason are out of order and similar. But remove them i have a hard time to believe.

I will however ask in the team board and see what could have happend.

I don't think any of us have removed anything from anyones signature. Especially without telling the person that we've done it. Don't know what's happened with yours Hygron.

Could be many things, such as your deleted it from your server without knowing?
2. possibly you moved the image to a different location..stuff happens H ?

1st off cripper...I didn't accuse any of my friends here of anything.  I asked.

2nd'ly...Ichbin TPsheriff informed me himself of removing a small banner, but the text link was still there.  Maybe he doesn't remember.  I know that this is of the smallest priorities on the totum pole, I am not upset;  I merely wanted to know I can replace what is gone.

3rd.  I did not delete any images or move any folders.  I have been starting commercial greenhouse business with no time for webmastering for over a year and just now went into my control panel for the 1st time in I don't know how long.

lastly.  thanks G6.  That makes sense. I am sure that the link didn't transfer.  thanks to all of you for replying.  I appreciate it, jus twith out the assumption that I am discrediting anyone

Hi hygron,

Don't know what the case is, since I doubt it was intentional if indeed it was removed, I'd say just add it back in.  Only things that would be removed would be something derogatory, illicit, or illegal and then I'm sure the member would be notified as such.

So just add'er back in then, and should be good to go.
