Residual Theme Names

Although using SMF for many years, I have just installed a whole new forum, not an upgrade - but I am using the old database.  I have no themes installed yet.

I noticed when I added the Theme block, that TP is picking up the names of long-gone themes.  They are not listed in SMF, there is no directory to be read with these old themes, so where is that coming from.

I do not want to install any new themes because the TP theme box is reporting names of non-existent themes.  I have discussed this on the SMF forums but it doesn't appear to be there problem since SMF is not showing the themes as choices under Theme Layouts or under personal profiles.

Is there a file that needs to be edited somewhere?

They should not be seen if you have uninstalled the theme correctly.
Check your themes and layout administration and delete the themes there ( even if you are not installed) to get rid of the entries in the DB

That has been done, and yet, still they show up in TP but not SMF

You can see it here:  http://myspacecoast.com/forums/index.php

I have activated the Theme box so you can take a look at it.
Installed are only the default SMF themes - default - classic - and babylon.

It's probably picking the names up from the old database.

Remove the unwanted theme entries in your DB through PHPMyadmin

Come to think about it, have you uncecked the themes in your tp administration for the block ?

Genie

I have uninstalled 0.98 and installed the new 1.05 beta and the Theme selection is working correctly.

I'm not smart enough to know why, but I think it must have picked up a corrected file in SMF after I corrected the theme issue in the forum software.

Thanks for all your help.

Now... if I could only get the RSS feed working.
I have another post on this elsewhere.

Thanks all.
Nice group of supporters here.  I'll stick with a product - free or paid - when I see help like this.

I do love this product.  I've been wanting it for several years but was afraid it would mess up my long running forum.  But since I did a total new install of the forum software, I thought I would try this.  I am very happy with what I am seeing so far.
