Integrating Site and Forums

I have editted some SMF forums with my own "mods" over 10 hours in the last 30 hours for my brother's site. I am almost complete, just need help with the last bit: Integrating the Site and the Forums. I have already integrated it some, but I need more help. I do not know how to make multiple pages with the same template as the forums home page (helios). I made another template just like the helios one, but instead of showing forums on the home, it shows "Welcome...". My question is how to make the forums another page, instead of another style, as is at this site, or how to make it switch the style by clicking a link. (you click forums, and it loads the forums-style).
I also would like to know how to make other pages that are not forums, but have the same template as them, like News, About, Images, and the others on the site.

I regret that I am not very clear on what I mean, but I did my best.

Most of what you describe comes from the mod that this site use - TinyPortal. With that you can have custom pages, and a custom frontpage all in the same style as the forum.

As for some boards switching automatically themes, thats built-in in SMF, just set the theme you want for a particular board in Admin / boards.
