I'm not sure if this is possible, but im going to ask anyway. Is there anyway to add in new images to the portal? I have seen a few sites use them, but im not sure if they use tiny portal or not. For example, this site: http://ic-league.phpbb24.com/forum/portal.php

It has an image before each post and that image is related to the post.

Now, I know this is possible using the [img] tags as well as using smilies, however, I dont think its possible to resize them to everyones browser. So, even if I did use [img] tags, the site would look different for everyones resolution.

The site you link to uses phpBB, so, no, they do not use TinyPortal. TP only works with SMF.

Yes, it is possible to use images in blocks and articles.

By using an

img src

tag. You can use any html in a block that you can use on a regular web page.

I know you can do that in blocks, but im not asking about blocks. I need to do them in the news posts.

New and forum parts like News board etc are SMF department.
Articles, blocks, and the content within TP is what this site is all about.
Seek further help on this on www.simplemachines.org

TP only displays the content of the news posts. It doesn't do any of its own parsing or changing. On a little display tweak is all. PUtting images into your posts and having them be too big or something will surely change the look of your site as you suggested, not much you can do about it except moderate how big the images can be in your posts by setting that in your SMF admin panel.
