I'm rather enjoying myself playing with the new TP package.  It does some very nice things, but I'm coming across a few things here and there.

I'm not sure of this is a bug in the beta or an installation issue, and my php skills are limited so my ability to debug is also limited.    This particular issue has to do with creating a new Block of type "categorybox".

Using SMF 1.1.4 and TP 1.0.5 beta, both freshly installed, I have created a couple of articles in an existing category named "Test Category".

I use "Add Upper Block" and select "categorybox" from the list of block types, and click on Save.  The Block edit page appears.

The "Display article listing from category:" combo box does not display any existing categories and is blank.  Pressing the Save button does not change anything.

The associated error in the log follows:
http://www.motorsportmarshalling.on.ca/portal/index.php?action=tpadmin;blockeditc=11;center;sesc
2: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
File: /var/www/vhosts/motorsportmarshalling.on.ca/httpdocs/portal/Themes/default/Admin.template.php (eval?)
Line: 2371

Is this a bug with the Block edit page?

If I go into the Panels and Blocks page, the combo box for article categories DOES display its contents correctly.

thanks!

Did you try creating any additional categories to see if that has any effect?

I just tried it.

I created a second category and populated it with an article.

I then tried to create  a categorybox Block again, but the "Display article listing from category:" combo box in the Block edit page still remains empty, and I get a fresh entry in my error log with the same contents as before.  However, even with the blank combo box, the category does appear default to my first created category even though I can't see or pick a category in the combo box.

To assign an article to a different category, I have to go into the "Panels and Blocks" page.  The combo box there does show all article categories correctly.
