Hi there,

at first: Thank you very much for tinyportal! I was looking for away to combine a forum and a page and still having the feeling that you are on a page not on a forum, tinyportal does exactly that! I am so pleased to having found TP in the end :) Thanks!

now: I want to change the main menu (at the moment there are three Buttons Main/Forum/Download). I know I can do this manually in the theme template. But isn't there a way to configure it like I can configure other menus (eg. sitemap)? Or is there a plugin with which I can do so? Or is there an other easy workaround, because I do not want to change the template each time I add a new site!

Thank you for your help and this great forum!

Welcome to tp.

There are no easy tool to remove buttons from the main menu. The only way is like you allready said, eather mark the code out in the index.template.php or remove the code compleatly.  :-\

The sitemap block doesent work the same way as there it just adds a new item, or reverse, remove it.

If you open your index.template.php, at the bottom you'll see sections of code that are used for buttons. You can probably find more help about this at simplemachines.org
