QuoteUpload the update files for your current SMF installation, and run upgrade.php

Can someone please clarify what this means? What are the update files? I don't have an upgrade.php with my TP dowload.

It would help if you could clarify what you're trying to get clarified... :)

As JP Denis say, it's the part where you replace the SMF files with a new set of SMF files from their big upgrade package on www.simplemachines.org
In that package you have a file named upgrade.php and when you have uploaded the files from the upgrade package, you can ( and must) point the browser to the file like this

www dot location of your forum dot com/upgrade.php and it will update the database tables for the SMF files to the latest version

Thanks G6.  That was the information I was looking to understand. The original topic doesn't clarify this step and I feel that the wording is somewhat ambiguous.
