Fresh Install, No Joy

Fresh SMF 1.1.4, no mods, default theme, and fresh TP 1.0.5 using SMF package installer. No errors during installation. TP welcome appeared, but blocks looked incomplete. In SMF Admin, the TP block is there, but empty. Tried fresh installs a few times. SMF otherwise works fine.

Should I try a manual install?

Take a read in the FAQ in the support board. If that doesn't help a manual install may be in order.

Fantastico install for SMF was the problem. Changed English utf8 to English and all's well. Thanks for your help.
