Ricky.

I created a central block and wanted it to appear only when people are starting new new thread / post.

So I choose custom action post as that is what I think will make it appear only when ppl are doing new posts.
Here is screenshot :

But It is not visible anywhere.. not even when starting post.

... what this POST action actually do ? .. is it something related to "POST and GET" method  thing ?

Ricky.

so .. any idea to show a block only on Posting page ?
I want to remind of some necessary rule to users when the start a new thread / post.

if (isset($_GET['action']) && $_GET['action']=='post')
echo ' all the code you want inbetween these two single quotes that you want to show up on the post page';

Make sure you choose not to show the block title/frame or it will show empty unless you are on the post page.

Ricky.
